Righthander bags four in opening night loss

Big Burnaby Lakers righthander Tyler Digby tallied four points for the Calgary Roughnecks in a season-opening 12-11 loss to the Vancouver Stealth on Friday.

Digby assisted three times in the first half of play at the Saddledome in Calgary and potted his only goal in an attempted fourth-quarter comeback as he scored the third of four unanswered counters by the R'Necks.

Burnaby keeper Tyler Richards got the win for the Stealth, stopping 36 of 47 shots on goal.
