Recap of the 2016 Draft

We would like to welcome the following players to the Burnaby Lakers.

He played his three years of Junior with the New Westminster Salmonbellies, ending his Junior career with 283 points (56GP, 141G, 142A). Currently playing NCAA lacrosse at Hofstra University. 

 

  

 

Spencer Stevens  (2nd Pick, 31st Overall). Right handed, Offensive player listed at 5'9, 195lbs. He played with the Coquitlam Jr Adanacs for most of his junior career (Delta 2G), ending with 83 points (43GP, 36G, 47A). 

Justin Appels  (3rd Pick, 38th Overall). Offensive Righty, listed at 6'0, 180lbs, who grew up playing lacrosse in Burnaby. Ended his Junior career with 125 points (36G, 89A). 

Ryan Vogrig  (4th Pick, 45th Overall). Offensive Lefty, listed at 5'10, 180lbs, from Vancouver. Ended his Junior career with 80 points (25G, 55A). Currently playing NCAA lacrosse at Wingate University (North Carolina). 

Cameron Hudspeth  (5th Pick, 52nd Overall). Offensive Righty, grew up playing lacrosse in Burnaby. Totalled 41 points in his Junior career. 

Jordan Hara  (6th Pick, 59th Overall). Defender, ended his Junior career with 7 points. Also grew up playing lacrosse in Burnaby.Â
