Two-time NLL MVP John Grant, Jr., the team’s all-time leading goal-scorer, returns for his seventh season in burgundy, silver and black. Callum Crawford, who tied the NLL record with 83 assists in 2016, is back for his second season in Colorado. And captain Dan Coates and Robert Hope, the team’s co-defensive players of the year, will patrol the back-end once again. Standing behind them will be goaltender Dillon Ward, who led the NLL in save percentage a season ago.

Colorado welcomes forward Zack Greer, who was acquired in September via trade from Saskatchewan. He’s one of just six players in the NLL to score 40-plus goals in each of the last two seasons. In 2016, he led the Rush with 42 tallies.

“We had a very good regular season last year, but there’s always room for improvement,” said Mammoth president & general manager Steve Govett. “Zack is a great player who has enjoyed tremendous postseason success. We’ll look to him for leadership on and off the field.”

Defenseman Taylor Stuart, who Colorado selected in September’s NLL Entry Draft, should further boost a defensive unit that allowed the second-fewest goals in the League. Jacob Ruest, a free agent signing, will contribute on the right side of the Mammoth offense.

Wheat Ridge (Colo.) native Nick Ossello joins fellow defenseman Brent Adams and forward Zach Herreweyers on the Practice Player List.

Colorado opens the season at Buffalo on Friday, December 30. The Mammoth hosts the Vancouver Stealth in the home-opener on Saturday, Jan. 7 at Pepsi Center. Click here to check seat availability.
