Laker star sparks Rush to NLL Champions Cup

Burnaby Lakers righthander Robert Church sparked a fourth-quarter comeback to pace the Saskatchewan Rush to an 11-10 victory over the Buffalo Bandits to win a second consecutive NLL Champion's Cup on Saturday.

Church garnered three of his game-high six points in the final 15 minutes, including a pair of goals less than a minute apart to put the home Rush up 10-9 midway through the quarter. The Rush trailed the Bandits 9-7 heading into the final frame.

Jeff Cornwall broke a 10-10 tie, tallying the game-winning goal on an unassisted transition goal with just 12 seconds left on the clock.
