Burnaby Lakers three star winner
The race for this season's Burnaby Lakers three star winner in the Western Lacrosse Association was a four player affair.
Three Burnaby runners and a goalie garnered five or more three-star votes during the regular season and playoffs, but it was newcomer Zac Boychuk with six star mentions, including two in the first round of playoffs, who owns the distinction this year for the Lakers.
The former Nanaimo Timberman had a breakout season with Burnaby, earning the WLA's top goalkeeper award as well as a first team all-star nod.
