Burnaby Lakers are pleased to announce the signing of Goalie Tye Belanger. Tye comes to Burnaby from the Brampton Excelsiors. Tye will make his Laker debut tonight vs the Nanaimo Timbermen. Tye is a member of the NLL  New England Black Wolves. Tye has appeared in 33 NLL games over three seasons…Has 362 saves and a career save percentage of .739…Played in a single-season career-high 18 goals last season for Colorado…Had a career-high five wins in 2013…Picked up first career win when he was inserted in the fourth quarter of a 12-12 game at Rochester (3/31/12). Colorado won 16-12…Saved 30 of 36 shots in first start, a win at Buffalo (3/9/13).
